Join us for the 57th Annual 4th of July Family Festival - Celebrating Community!

Can you believe the 57th Annual 4th of July Family Festival starts today? This three-day celebration runs from July 3rd through July 5th, and this year’s theme is “Celebrating Community.” Be sure to check out the full schedule to see all the exciting events the Fourth of July Commission has lined up! A heartfelt thank you goes out to our 4th of July commissioners, city council and staff, generous sponsors, and—most of all—our incredible community and participants. Your support is what makes this celebration so special. We can’t wait to see you at the festivities as we come together to celebrate Independence Day!

Parade Information - 1:00 PM, July 4th

Sponsored by Acrisure

The parade route will begin at 159th Street and travel west to Rose Court. Staging will take place on National Avenue, west of Moorland to 159th and carry into the subdivision north. The official parade route will begin at 159th street heading west and end at Observatory Road. The parade will begin at 1PM.


Road closures will begin at 11 a.m. and run through 4 p.m.


In deference to the condensed space, spectators should refrain from placing personal items or roping off areas along the parade route until noon on July 3rd. All items placed along National Avenue prior to July 3rd will be considered abandoned property and will be removed.

Parking Map & Shuttle Information

If you want an easy way in and out of the grounds, take advantage of our shuttle rides generously donated by Durham School Services.


Route includes stops at New Berlin Activity and Recreation Center, Ronald Reagan School (outer parking lot) and Festival Grounds. The Festival Grounds pick-up/drop-off point will be located at the crosswalk on the north side of National Avenue, just west of Casper Drive.

Offsite Parking is Available

Want to skip the hassle of festival parking? Park at Ronald Reagan School or at the New Berlin Activity and Recreation Center and let Durham Bus Service shuttle you to and from the festival. And the best part is it's FREE! Please note that the service is offered on Friday, July 4th & Saturday, July 5th from 4:00-11:00 PM.

Fireworks in the Park

Festival Foods sponsor this Year's Fireworks and will begin at 10 PM in Malone Park on the 4th of July.


Please note: It is against city ordinance to have sparklers, fireworks, and open fires on the festival grounds.

57th Annual 4th of July Family Festival

The 2nd Annual Drone Show returns by popular demand - even bigger and better than last year! Join us on July 5th at 9:30 PM at Malone Park for a spectacular night of lights in the sky! Special thanks to the drone show sponsors: Educator's Credit Union, Jerry Johnson, and Above Park LLC. The display is synchronized to accompanying music. So sit back and enjoy the show!

New to the 4th of July Festival is the Indepen-DANCE Party! This teen inspired tent will feature a Disco Party with New Berlin Based Double Platinum DJ Service, Mocktails sponsored by the New Berlin West Players Booster Club, and other fun activities geared towards adolescents.

Important message from NBPD

This year's fireworks show is scheduled on Friday, July 4th at 10PM, at Malone Park. Please consider attending this display in lieu of setting off your own respective neighborhood displays as the use of ANY fireworks in New Berlin is violation of City Ordinances and Wisconsin Statute. For additional information pertaining to City Ordinance regulating fireworks, please click on the button below.
