Happy Halloween
Good Morning-
We hope your Halloween is spectacularly spooky! The Mayor and Elected officials have an important message for the residents of New Berlin, see more below. The leaves continue to fall as we head into November. Do you know what to do when they end up in your storm water ditch? We've also featured a number of ways to recycle as you prepare to host the holidays. If you're looking for a part time job, you just might find what you are looking for right here in the City of New Berlin! Enjoy this week's Halloween edition of New Berlin Notes!
Important Message from the Mayor & Elected Officials
Watch your mailbox -- you will be receiving an envelope from the City of New Berlin with the letter linked below. Click the button below to view the important letter from the Mayor and the Common Council regarding the Waukesha Water pumping station proposed for New Berlin.
Keep the Ditches & Inlets Clean

It is the most important time of the year to make sure that you keep leaves and other yard waste out of the storm water ditches and inlets. Storm water needs to flow freely during this time of year to avoid any street or yard flooding. When the leaves begin to fall, make sure you remove all leaves or debris from the ditch or inlet in front of your home! For more information regarding the requirements of maintaining the right-of-way in front of your property, please reference Section 230-13 in the New Berlin Municipal Code.
Time to Fall Back
Don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour this weekend. The official time change is at 2:00 AM on Sunday, November 3rd. " It's also a good time to change the batteries in your smoke alarms.
