There is a new drop box for tax/utility bills in the parking lot. It's in the same spot as before but has a sleeker look. Remember you cannot use cash in the drop box.

Share Your Thoughts
The New Berlin Police Department is working to achieve accreditation through the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group (WILEAG). The public is invited to offer comments to the WILEAG assessment team on October 23rd between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm by calling 262-754-1890. Written comments are also accepted. Pumpkin Disposal
As the annual tradition of carving pumpkins approaches, the City of New Berlin wishes to remind you that these spooky creations can be composted at the City’s Recycling Center located at 3711 Casper Dr. The Recycling Center accepts all pumpkins, no matter how scary they are for composting. There is no fee for New Berlin residents and the Recycling Center will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 AM to 7 PM and Saturdays from 8 AM to 4 PM through December 1.
Citizen of the Year
Mayor Dave Ament presented the 2019 Citizen of the Year winner, Telesfore Wysocki, with an award at the end of the Committee of the Whole meeting on Tuesday, October 8th. Ted has provided the City with dedicated service for over 35 years. He has a history working in local government and with local non-profits.
Halloween is Almost Here!
Fall Harvest Art & Craft Fair
The New Berlin Junior Woman's Club is hosting a Fall Harvest Art and Craft Fair this Saturday, October 19th from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm at Ronald Reagan Elementary School. The entrance fee is $3 and all proceeds are donated back into the New Berlin community.
Extra Mile Day
Mayor Dave Ament has proclaimed November 1st, 2019 as "Extra Mile Day." Mayor Ament urges individuals in the community to take time on November 1st to not only go the extra mile in your own life but also to acknowledge all those who are inspirational in their efforts and commitments to make their organizations, families, community, country and world a better place.

The Ceremony will include participation from the New Berlin Hoeppner Horn VFW Post 5716, the American Legion Post #488 and the New Berlin Community Band.

Got Glasses?
You can drop off used eye glasses and hearing aids at New Berlin City Hall. Look for the collection bucket at the Clerk's counter.The New Berlin Lions Club sponsors this collection.
New Berlin Preschool Visit
Mayor Dave Ament visited our October Business of the Month, New Berlin Preschool. He even had a chance to read a story to the kids. The preschool works to provide each child with the tools and skills necessary to enhance their social, physical, emotional, and academic development in a warm and nurturing environment.
Reminder From Santa...
2019 Christmas Parade
The 2019 Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, December 7th at 3:00 PM. It will start at 159th Street and National Avenue and proceed west on National Avenue to Al Stigler Drive. A tree lighting and Santa's corner will follow.
