We have many new varieties, including Duke, O'Neal, Blue Ridge & Southern Living Takes The Cake. For higher yields, plant two to three different varieties for cross-pollination. Also, use camellia or azalea fertilizer for the second growing year.

Henry's Garnet Virginia Sweetspire is an improved variety of a native shrub. It features long, narrow panicles of white flowers in summer. Green foliage turns a brilliant burgundy in the fall.
