BACD Entrepreneurial Program for Students
Summer Company Entrepreneurship Program
Turn your idea into a business! The program starts in June/July and finishes by Labour Day and provides Ontario students ages 15-29 up to $3,000 and hands-on coaching and mentoring to help them start and operate their own business. There are changes to the program due to COVID. Accepting applications until May 23rd, 2021. Learn more

The DMS service is free to you thanks to funding of the Ontario Digital Main Street Initiative by FedDev Ontario and the Province of Ontario, in partnership with TABIA and OBIAA, The Regional Municipality of Durham Region and delivered through the BACD.
Central Counties 2021 Business Support Program
Central Counties Tourism has set aside $400,000 to help offset the costs incurred by businesses to keep customers safe, stay top of mind with consumers and/or modify their business model to stay relevant and accessible.

The Ontario Government's new grant provides a minimum of $10,000 and up to $20,000 to help eligible small business owners during this challenging period. The grant will provide businesses with dollar for dollar funding to a maximum of $20,000 to help cover decreased revenue expected as a result of the Provincewide Shutdown. Visit website for more info
