Brick Township Welcomes New Tim Hortons Location

Mayor Lisa Crate joined Councilwoman Lisa Reina and Councilwoman Melissa Travers in welcoming Tim Hortons to Brick Township with a ceremonial ribbon cutting at the new location at 1 Lanes Mill Road.


The event marked the official opening of the popular coffee and donut chain in the community.

Mayor Crate congratulated the owners and staff and thanked them for investing in Brick Township. The new Tim Hortons adds another dining option for residents and contributes to the continued growth of the local business community.


Mayor Crate, Councilwoman Reina and Councilwoman Travers extended a warm welcome to Tim Hortons and wished the management and employees great success as they begin serving customers in Brick Township.

Brick Recreation Offers Fun-Filled Trip to Turtle Back Zoo

The Brick Township Recreation Department is inviting residents to spend a fun day at one of New Jersey's most fun attractions - the Turtle Back Zoo. Located in West Orange, the zoo has over 1,400 animals from every continent (except Antarctica)! It's a must-see for people of all ages. Let our bus driver take care of the driving while you focus on planning out your day to get the most of your experience.


The trip will be held on Saturday, April 11 (rain date 4/18). The bus will depart the Civic Plaza at 8am and departs the zoo at 3pm for the trip home. The cost of the trip is $60/person and includes round-trip transportation and entry into the park.


Registration begins on February 2 at 7:30am.

Senior Services Calendar of Activities

Brick Senior Services is dedicated to supporting residents aged 60 and over by offering a wide range of services, activities and programs tailored to enhance their quality of life. From health and wellness programs to social and recreational activities, Senior Services provides opportunities for connection, learning and enjoyment in a welcoming environment.

 

The Brick Senior Center is located at 500 Aurora Place. It is easily accessible and serves as a central point for seniors to access assistance, participate in enriching programs and build community with others.

 

Whether you’re looking for fitness classes, educational workshops, or social gatherings, Brick Senior Services has something to offer everyone. The center’s programs are designed to promote physical health, mental well-being and social engagement for Brick’s senior population.

Follow along as Gabby from the Brick Township Arts Council helps you create your own Valentine-themed gnome painting. All while enjoying some delicious beverages! Registration is required.

Join us for a fun Movie Monday featuring the Disney animated classic "Lilo and Stitch." Popcorn and candy will be provided. Registration is required for this event.

Brick Recreation Hosts Annual Mommy–Son Dance

Brick Recreation is inviting moms and their sons to step out for a special afternoon of fun, music, and memories at our Moms & Sons Dance! This sweet and energetic event is the perfect chance to enjoy quality time together in a playful party atmosphere.


Guests will dance to the tunes of an upbeat DJ, get creative with fun crafts and pose for a souvenir photo to remember the day. Light refreshments will also be provided so everyone can recharge between dance moves.


The dance will take place on Saturday, February 7, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at the Civic Plaza. The cost to attend is $25 per mom, and each registered mom may bring her son(s).


Registration is limited to children ages 4–9 only, so don’t wait to sign up for this memory-making event that’s sure to bring smiles, laughter, and lots of dancing shoes to the floor!
