The City recently hosted a public meeting to update the community on the progress of the Downtown Safety Improvement Project. The meeting covered proposed changes to improve traffic flow, pedestrian access, and overall safety in Woburn Center. We value your input as we continue refining these plans!

Mark your calendar- Woburn's second annual Porchfest is scheduled for Saturday, October 12th. Porchfest is a City Wide music festival that aims to bring together the community through live music with the mindset of full inclusivity. 

The City recently held a community meeting to discuss the Woburn Community Electricity Program. Woburn Community Electricity is a program in development by the City to provide residents and businesses more electricity supply options, more renewable energy, and potentially lower rates. We are now accepting public comments on the plan until October 16.

This summer, Woburn Center received some extra attention, with a series of community and state-backed initiatives breathing new life into its public spaces. Thanks to a state earmark secured by State Representative Rich Haggerty, and support from the Woburn Redevelopment Authority and City Council, the city has implemented several improvements aimed at making Woburn a more vibrant and pedestrian-friendly place.
