Odenton, MD. – The Central Maryland Chamber (CMC) announced today that it will now be offering TWO new affinity programs for members: Supplemental Benefits and Retirement Solutions.
CMC has partnered with Graham Suddoth and Health Compass to offer supplemental benefits. This new program is self-insured and voluntary, offered within the confines of your organization with no self-insured risk. Structured as a Wellness Integrated Medical Plan Expense Reimbursement (plan), employers experience an average savings of $500 per employee, per year. And employees realize an average of $150 per month for participating, which can be used for supplemental products, with no reduction in take-home pay. Participation is a benefit of your membership in the CMC!
The Maryland Saves program has been in the news as employers of all sizes were required to quickly enroll, many details of the program have not yet been released, and businesses are struggling to understand the new law. The Chamber has partnered with Transamerica to offer an innovative group retirement plan solution in lieu of Maryland Saves while still meeting the state’s requirements for the program. Through this program you will benefit from reduced fees, less maintenance required by the business owner, and personalized service. Participation is also a benefit of your membership in the CMC!
"We are thrilled to provide TWO new affinity programs to our members offered through our reputable partners that can provide supplemental benefits and retirement solutions for their employees. These benefits provide CMC members with additional retention strategies that may not have been possible before and in our current business environment are more important than ever!"
