EVAWI has created an exciting new program on Comprehensive Victim Interviews (CVI), which we plan to offer several times a year. This 2-day virtual training features veteran law enforcement investigators and other national experts, and it includes never-before-seen interviews with sexual assault victims conducted by skilled investigators.
With small group sizes and a high-performance technology platform, CVI participants will have plenty of opportunities to interact with the expert presenters, sharing concrete tips and tools, and networking with colleagues across the country and around the world.
You won’t want to miss out on this unique opportunity to enhance your skills at effective victim interviewing! Register now to join us, either on June 29-30 or September 14-15.

Course Description
For victims who report sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking, and other traumatic incidents, the purpose of an investigative interview is to help them:
-
Retrieve details of the traumatic event from memory, and
-
Disclose those details to the investigator.
This is true regardless of whether the interview is conducted by law enforcement, Title IX investigators, Human Resources personnel, or others. Yet achieving this goal requires a great deal of work before, during, and after the interview.
