DOE OCED Up and Running


One year ago the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) tasked Management Solutions to support the review and monitoring of large-scale, clean energy demonstration projects across the country. 


Since then the team has streamlined processes and developed tools to assist OCED in focusing on project development and deployment, used technical expertise to inform project selection, negotiation and awards, and worked directly with communities and stakeholders.

Big Growth for Clean Energy, Environmental, Nuclear Services Practices


The size and deep expertise of the Management Solutions team continues to grow. This week the firm announced the addition of four exceptional industry leaders.

Lola Infante, PhD: Joining the firm as Portfolio Director, DOE Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations, Infante brings more than 18 years advancing clean energy policy and external affairs.

Kyle Kilroy, PE, C Eng, PhD: Kilroy joins Management Solutions as Senior Director of Operations, brining more than 23 years in engineering leadership, including at DOE, Betchtel and Los Alamos National Laboratory. He manages the Aiken, SC office near the Savannah River worksite.

Mark Janaskie: Bringing 38+ years of unparalleled experience in environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, and project management, including 13 years with DOE Office of Environmental Management, Janaskie joins the Management Solutions team as Senior Manager. 

Samantha Pack: Pack brings over 35 years of regulatory and environmental management experience to the environmental services team, most recently managing the DOE ETTP contract, directing 120 personnel and a $128 million budget for the Oak Ridge Reservation.

Hats off to the Class of 2024 Engineers


Not long ago, it was rare to see women in tech and STEM, and even more rare to see women in STEM leadership positions. CEO Misty Mayes, proud University of Tennessee alumna, gave the commencement address to the newest engineers at the UT Tickle College of Engineering May 17. Misty was the first female Chair of the college's Board of Advisors.
