New Castle Career Center Receives Lathe and Robotic Trainer

The New Castle Career Center (NCCC) is taking steps to improve student success by upgrading its programs with new technology and equipment. The recent purchase of a new CNC (Computer Numerical Control) lathe for the Machine Trades program and a robotic trainer for the Engineering Careers and Computer Operations program will allow students to experience modern machining processes. Community partner donations and grants purchased both new technologies possible.

Virtual School Donations Boost New Castle Career Center's CNA Program

When Indiana Digital Learning School changed how they would offer their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) classes, they had an abundance of supplies that needed a new home. That home became the New Castle Career Center, and now many students will benefit from their generosity.

Fire & Rescue students braved the cold weather to practice forcible entry techniques. Students worked in teams of two to accomplish both interior and exterior door entry skills.

Dental Career students would like to thank Dr. Miller and his staff at Raintree Dental for their donation of impression trays and instrument trays to our program. We are excited for extra practice taking impressions! Thank you.
