Free Concert in the Park Series begins Wednesday, July 13^th @ 7PM at Burke Lake Park– Running for seven Wednesday nights beginning July 13^th, this is one of my favorite events to host each year as I partner with the Fairfax County Park Authority, the Park Foundation, and local businesses to bring you seven free concerts at Springfield District’s own nationally-ranked Burke Lake Park. Featuring an incredible line-up of bands, food trucks, 2 Silos beer, and Peterson’s Ice Cream. The atmosphere is informal, so bring blankets and lawn chairs, and relax with friends and family. Celebrate Fairfax Kids Nights begin Wednesday, July 13th @ 5PM at Burke Lake Park - This year we are also partnering with Celebrate Fairfax to bring you two family fun events right before the concerts on July 13^th and 20^th. These Celebrate Fairfax Kids @ Springfield Nights family fun nights will start at 5pm and run until the concert begins at 7pm. Kids will have the chance to get a balloon creation from Sam the Balloon Man, see mind-bending optical illusions and bubbling potions with Mad Science, be amazed by Drew Blue Shoes Magician, see roaming characters, get their faces painted, play giant lawn games and more! I’m very excited to invite you to come to the Free Concerts in the Park Series at Burke Lake Park starting on July 13^th. Running for seven Wednesday nights beginning July 13 this is one of my favorite events to host each year at Springfield District’s own nationally-ranked Burke Lake Park.

I am again partnering with the Fairfax County Park Authority, the Park Authority Foundation, our sponsors and 2 Silos Brewery to host this seven-show series with free music and delicious food and drink options. The food trucks we have lined up are crowd favorites, Big Cheese and Mr. Falafel Inc.

I’m very excited about this year’s concert line-up with returning crowd favorites and the new addition of Speidel, Goodrich, Goggin & Lille. Here is the full line-up:
