XOKOLATL CAFE STORY
Xokolatl Caf is a first of its kind caf focusing on cacao-based chocolate drinks prepared from ancestral recipes, family secrets and modern variations derived from Aztec and Mayan cultures.

All profits go towards the work of Semillas Community Schools, a non-profit organization with an emphasis on indigenous culture and tradition based in East L.A.

What does Xokolatl mean? Derived from a seed called cacao, or cacahuatl in the native language Nahuatl from Mexico, "xocolatl" is the Nahuatl word for chocolate.

In addition to cacao-based drinks,
Xokolatl Caf offers espressos, organic teas, baked goods, fresh salads, healthy sandwiches, soups and more.
