Restore and Align

We begin with the breath, always, the very basis of our yoga practice. We will then focus on strengthening the respiratory system and the deep core muscles. The legs and lower back will feel so wonderfully stretched and strengthened. To finish this practice there will be chanting and meditation.

Beat the Winter Blues Day Retreat

In this course participants learn how yoga helps children develop skills that support self-regulation, body awareness, focus and concentration. Through the use of games, songs, storytelling and a supportive, interactive learning environment, participants will learn specific tools, and teaching techniques they can use immediately with the children in their lives.

Who will benefit from Yin Yoga Teacher Training?
Teachers, students and anyone wanting to deepen their practice, refine their teaching skills and learn more about the benefits of this quiet practice.
As we age, the flexibility in our joints can decrease. Yin yoga is a great way to maintain or improve that flexibility. This practice allows you the time to notice and feel the different physical and emotional sensations, while also adding a meditative aspect to your practice.

Gentle Yoga for Active Aging Teacher Training

This intensive program will provide the knowledge and tools to help you create safe, accessible, and appropriate Gentle Yoga classes for active aging. You will be given insight into the aging process and its impact on the body so that you can provide adaptations as needed. You will be able to focus on creating a Gentle Yoga practice that allows for continued functionality, strength and independence which can be transferred to Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s).

Chai Cookie Recipe
Tis the season

Ingredients
- 1 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 3/4 cup virgin coconut oil
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 3 chai teabags steeped, in 1/2 cup boiling water - cooled
- 4 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Boil water and steep tea in 1/2 cup of boiling water for 7 to 11 minutes
- Add chia seed to small bowl with 5 tbsp water. Stir and let sit for five minutes
- Mix all dry ingredients
- In a separate bowl mix wet ingredients
- Mix all ingredients
- Using a tablespoon drop the batter on the baking sheet greased with coconut oil
- Bake for 15 minutes in preheated oven
- Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a plate
