GREENWICH, Conn. (Oct. 19, 2021) - Thirteen Featured Classes, plus four Post-War, one Pre-War and Contemporary Supercar and Muscle/Performance categories will make up the 20 judged classes for this year’s Greenwich Concours d’Elegance.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary and returning to Roger Sherman Baldwin Park overlooking Greenwich Harbor, the Concours will host both domestic and international marques on Sunday, Oct. 24, while other activities will take place on Friday, Oct. 22 and Saturday, Oct. 23.
Each of the 20 classes on the field will include eight cars, allowing the slate of expert judges to focus closely on each vehicle as to design, style and elegance in order to select this year’s winners.
This year’s special classes include Ford vs. GM, 100 Years of Duesenberg, Right Coast Rods, Lancia, 75 Years of Allard and a first-ever SUV class. The 2021 Featured Classes for motorcycles will be Moto Guzzi and Indian.
A stand-out in the 100 Years of Duesenberg class is a 1921 Straight Eight, later known as the Model A, which was the first passenger car to bear the Duesenberg name and the first Duesenberg sold.
The popular Lancia Post- and Pre-War class lineups include a 1955 Lancia Aurelia B24S. The Spider America was launched in 1954 and over the course of two years only 240 examples were produced. This Lancia Aurelia B24S is one of only 181 original left-hand-drive examples. Nearly every Lancia model built since 1922 will be represented.

“Sunday is the big day. It’s going to be spectacular. We’ve elevated the number of classes and we now have 20 classes of eight cars each," said Matt Orendac, Concours Event Director.
“Roger Sherman Baldwin Park is a great setting for the Concours d’Elegance. The first thing you are going to see is the entire waterfront. You’ll be able to see the bay, you’ll be able to see the boats. It’ll be a great landscape for photographers to take pictures.
“Our featured class Ford vs. GM will create a unique display right on the waterfront. We are also celebrating Pre- and Post-war Lancia, 100 years of Duesenberg, 75 years of Allard, so many great classes. Our own chief judge Ken Gross has curated the Right Coast Rods class.
“I know there are big fans of the vintage SUVs. We've put together a display that features the best of the best."
“A couple of cars are coming from the Revs Institute: the 1963 Chevy Grand Sport and the 1966 Ford GT40. And we’ll have several cars that have won their classes at some of the signifIcant concours in the country. I think everyone will be amazed at the elevation of classes.”
‘We’re looking to educate, engage and entertain the entire weekend,” Orendac added.
