The next World Famous Clubhouse Yard Sale will take place Saturday, August 16, Sunday, August 17 and Tuesday, August 19. This is the beloved event where we sell nearly 5000 (!!!) gently used and new items to crafty bargain hunters. In turn, our sellers earn store credit to purchase new items at the Clubhouse. It’s a Win-Win!

How The Yard Sale Works

Here are the basics:

  • You bring your items (paper crafting, stamping and art supplies only) to the store on on Saturday, 8/9 between 2pm and 5pm or during regular business hours Tuesday, 12 through Thursday, 8/14.
  • We display your items and sell them for you so you do not need to be present to sell. 
  • Anyone who wants to buy your items pays at the register and we keep track of how much you’ve made.
  • When the sale ends you come to sort and pick up your unsold items. 
  • You get the amount you sold back from us in the form of store credit, which you have 5 weeks to spend. There are a few exclusions, these are spelled out in the contract.


How Do You Get More Information And/Or Register?

  • The base cost to participate in the yard sale is $40. For this fee you may put up to 120 items out for sale. Your fee includes up to 120 tickets. If you would like to put more than 120 items in the yard sale, you may purchase an additional 60 tickets for a flat fee of $18. The maximum number of items per person is 180. 
  • Seller registrations will be accepted from now through 8/12 OR until we reach our limit of 40 registrants, whichever comes first.
  • You may register in person (PREFERRED!) by coming to the store to read the contract, ask questions, sign the contract and make payment.  Registration starts at noon on Tuesday (Tracie has a doctor's appointment in the morning.)
  • To register by mail please call the store at 860-399-4443 to request that the contract be emailed to you. Please allow 24 hours for the email to be sent to you. AFTER you have read it you can give us a call if you have questions and/or decide to participate.  You will need to print, read, sign and bring or mail the completed contract back. There is an additional $2 fee to have tickets mailed to you.


We will not register any participants, print any tickets, etc. without a signed contract and payment; it is the seller’s responsibility to make sure they understand the contract before signing.
