App Developers Invited to Reverse Pitch Night on February 15
On February 15, a Request for Proposals will be presented to developers at a Reverse Pitch event for three smart gigabit applications. These apps will be created over the next several months with competitive compensation, funded in part by $20,000 from US Ignite.
New Coding School Lands in Innovation District
Through a partnership between The Enterprise Center and Birmingham-based company Covalence, a new 10-week coding school program will be established starting in spring of 2017.  
The Enterprise Center Receives Mozilla Grant for LOLA Applications in Classrooms
Made possible by the Chattanooga Gig, LOw LAtency (LOLA) allows for students in Chattanooga to connect with musicians, artists and schools across the country in real time.  Find out more about Mozilla's Gigabit Community Fund to launch a 16-week PILOT in conjunction with The Enterprise Center.

ORNL and EPB Partner to Test the Role of Sensors in Smart Grid Innovation
Made possible by Chattanooga's  gig, Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) staff scientists, working closely with EPB, are testing new technologies, examining the use of microgrids, and developing new analytics that will allow EPB to unlock the power of its smart grid data to improve operations and use high-performance computing to perform modeling and simulations.
