April 12, 2017 - Hidden within the back room of one of Boston's leading life science communications agencies, a team of all-star designers, creatives and tech minds are now showcasing their talents and their contributions to leading companies and institutions around the world.
Today, MacDougall Biomedical Communications (MBI) is launching their creative studio with a new brand, identity and free agent status to expand their horizons beyond their traditional client mix. One part creative team, one part media lab and one part brewery, the new studio, called THE LAB@MBI, is built from decades of collective practical experience and puts a keen focus on the fusion of science, technology and art. In addition to the 360-creative offerings you know and love, 'THE LAB' is on a constant mission to craft new forms of visual storytelling, unique user experiences, and tasty small-batch homebrews through active R&D and constant evaluation of tomorrow's ever-changing landscape.
THE LAB @ MBI team is made up of artists, producers, thinkers, doers, scientists and tech minds on a mission to build beautiful storytelling across all mediums. Over the last 8 years the team has launched or rebranded over 60 companies, elucidated dozens of new technologies and services, developed 100's of presentations, supported multiple product launches, and developed brand campaigns for leading medical and academic institutions. The team has worked with clients around the world including all over Europe, China, Japan, and Australia.
