Management Solutions Receives DOE WOSB of the Year Award at LANL

This week, the Department of Energy awarded Founder and CEO Misty Mayes and the Management Solutions team with its Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year Award.

"Success hinges on three key components: people, processes, and tools. While industry data shows 76% of projects fail, it's rarely due to a lack of talent. The challenge lies in effective management and execution. That's where our team brings its expertise, leveraging these three pillars to consistently deliver on our clients' missions," said Mayes.

Management Solutions is proud to be the first company to earn this award twice, both in 2006 and 2024.

New Think Tank: AI in Government Project Management

AI is transforming project and program management by addressing everyday challenges in practical ways. However, federal projects are too complex for a black-box algorithm to run the show. That’s why it’s all about enhancement, not replacement. AI can act as a tireless analyst, combing through data and presenting findings so that project leaders can make better decisions.

When paired with experienced project teams, AI tools can help achieve on-time, on-budget success for even the most complex programs. Our latest ThinkTank breaks down how AI deployed appropriately can enhance project delivery for government programs.
