Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
(Hebrews 12:1)

On May 13, 2018, a terrorist attack on Surabaya Central Pentecostal Church killed 10 people and left one church member with burns over 85% of her body. That church member, Fenny Suryawati, continues to recover and is now using her burn scars to share Christ with her Muslim neighbors.

Voice of the Martyrs Korea continues to help pay medical expenses for Fenny as well as for others affected by the bombings. Individuals interested in donating to the “Fenny Fund” can do so at . Please note “Fenny” on the donation.

New Coronavirus outbreak in NE China puts NK sex-trafficked women at risk of starvation

The biggest worry today for North Korean women in Northeast China is not Coronavirus but starvation.

new outbreak of Coronavirus in Northeast China’s Jilin Province  has led authorities there to restrict travel and institute additional control measures. The new measures make it nearly impossible for North Korean sex-trafficked women there to feed their families.

Now even in the smallest markets and towns, in order to purchase food, ID cards are required. Of course the North Korean women don’t have ID cards because they were sex-trafficked to China illegally.

Doers of the Word
Are human beings like plants or seeds? How does that relate to the future hope that is spoken of in Prov. 23:18?

In this week’s sermon, Pastor and Dr. Foley explain that every problem we have in life or parenting is because we get the answer to this question wrong.

Pastor Tim's Prayer Points
  • Pray for VOMK to network well with local churches who are doing NK discipleship. – NK defectors in South Korea are struggling because of the Coronavirus. Most are not able to attend church and do not know how to join in a live feed. Please pray that we would be able to equip the local churches on how to continue to minister to the defectors during this time.

  • Pray that our early-morning radio signal remains clear and strong. Many of the North Koreans who tune into this broadcast have never heard our TVOM radio program before and have never heard the gospel before. This early morning broadcast is especially important for those North Koreans that live in a rural setting.
