It was a full house at Town Hall as Oakville's 2018-2022 Town Council was officially sworn into office on Monday night.
"We have much to be proud of in Oakville," said Mayor Burton in his fourth inaugural address. "We have slower and controlled growth, double the amount of community facilities, the healthiest finances in Ontario, increased greenspace and more."
During the meeting, the 2019 Council and Standing Committee schedule of meetings was approved, and Council appointments to the various advisory boards and committees were announced.
