Warren's First Week in Florida

Well, I can honestly say it was so nice to play golf in shorts and polo shirts once again, despite the day I arrived being the wettest I have ever seen.

The house is really good and very well located for all of our courses with my first game was at The Dye Preserve against Will and Mark Kirk with Robby Rigano. That match finished in a honorable half but we had a little private bet as individuals which I am delighted to say I won! The Dye is quite simply one of the best courses in Florida. It really is a special place and the way the staff treated us all was fantastic.

Our next game was at Mayacoo Lakes Country Club. I hadn't played there before and was amazed by how good the course was, especially the greens that were running at about 12 on the stint meter. Mark, Will and I played there and once again I turned out to be the winner!

We then travelled south to Miami to play at Turnberry Isle. What a course. I must say bring plenty of balls because on some holes there is more water than grass.

Unfortunately, Jeff Chavkin took the money there after finishing level par for the last four holes of a 12 handicap????

It only took us 1hr 10 min from the house and for anyone visiting the area it really is a must play course.

Well, that is basically my last few tough days in West Palm Beach and I will update you on my progress for the next few days next week. I hope you can join us either in the house or just for a game as Will, Mazz and I are ready and waiting.

Hope to see you soon.

What ELIGO Members Have to Say...

"We have been making regular Florida trips to enjoy the fine Eligo courses each of the last four years. The new Eligo guest house is wonderful addition to the offering. Robby and I enjoyed the accommodations immensely, the house is beautiful, large and in a great location. Having Eligo team members local also made the trip much more enjoyable as we not only got in some great matches but some great laughs too. Warren, Chris and Will all went out of their way to insure we had a wonderful weekend."

"Had an awesome time playing the Eligo courses in Florida. I only wish I had taken more advantage of the opportunity as a "member for the day" to experience all of what the great Eligo courses have to offer. Dye Reserve and Turnberry were both spectacular. The best part of the experience was being able to play the courses with the Eligo staff. Competing and observing great courses with great players (and fun guys in general), greatly enriched the golfing experience. Hoping to get a chance to go back this winter!"
