IND HEMP Ads 30+ Jobs with
Fiber Processing Expansion
IND HEMP in Fort Benton, is the largest hemp processor in the US, processing Montana’s 10,000 acres of hemp. In 2018 the Farm Bill removed industrial hemp (with less than .3% THC level) from the controlled substance classification. Opening the doors for farmers in Montana.

When growing industrial hemp for grain and/or fiber no specialized farming equipment is necessary. Harvesting hemp seed is very similar to harvesting wheat or canola and is a great rotation crop with these other traditional Montana commodities. Industrial hemp as a fiber is utilized in building construction and textiles across the world.

IND HEMP’s expansion into fiber processing will create the first domestic supply of hemp fiber and hurd at industrial scale.Adding 30+ jobs and expanding processing to 24 hours a day in the years to come.
“We are focusing on creating a stable supply chain. There is ample opportunity for advanced manufacturers and additional value added processors to locate in the Golden Triangle making food products, construction materials, and bioplastics utilizing hemp.”
