New to Curbside Service!
Would you rather drop by to pick up your holds? On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 1pm-2pm, you can now walk up to the Downtown Library without an appointment (just be sure to bring your library card). And did you know that no appointments are necessary at the Fair Oaks Branch Library on Monday and Wednesday? Wait times may vary while library staff prepare your items.
Of course, you can still use our booking system to schedule a pick-up appointment during our curbside hours at all locations. Your available holds will be checked out to you and packaged on the morning of your appointment—this is our fastest service option!
In addition to picking up library holds, we also offer Grab Bags bundles, seed packets (coming soon to our branches), and at the Downtown Library WiFi hotspots and Veterans handbooks.
When you visit, please observe our COVID-19 safety guidelines: Maintain 6 feet distance from others; Face coverings are required; Call 650-780-7018 ext. 4 for all non-appointment questions.
