WEDNESDAY NIGHT SERIES
DEI COMMUNITY OF LEARNING
ANNOUNCING THE LAUNCH OF THE NEXT WEDNESDAY NIGHT DEI SERIES.
STARTING NEXT WEEK - APRIL 21

NOW WHAT: DEFINING THE ROADMAP TO RESTORATIVE JUSTICE LAST FALL
WAS AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE. THESE WEDNESDAY NIGHT CONVERSATIONS ARE SO IMPORTANT AND WE ARE SO GLAD WE CAN ALL CONTINUE THIS WORK.

Join CCCAOE for a Community of Learning (CoL) for 6 weeks as we continue our journey towards DEI. In this CoL we will begin with equity in mind and a deep dive into racial equity though the lens of conscious leadership. Participants will engage in great conversations to support their transformation of what it means to be a conscious leader. We will have discussion topics each Wednesday to deepen our understanding of Racial Equity and Conscious Leadership with a DEI lens to support a system-level to advance equity. Participants will be invited to a free course from C.A.R.E. (Coalition on Anti-Racism Education) networking collective entitled, CCCAOE DEI Community of Learning, moving from theory to action: Racial Equity and Conscious Leadership Series. The course is a 6-week, asynchronous course filled with opportunities to learn about the historical context of racism in the USA and how history has affected the world of education and the workforce. The course has toolkits and additional resources to support building a classroom, campus, and personal approach to embedding DEI into all areas of work.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR FALL 2021
IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL CONFERENCES
Making sure all our students get a great education, find a career that's fulfilling and rewarding, and have a chance to live out their dreams ... wouldn't just make us a more successful country - it would also make us a more fair and just one. Bill Gates

This fall, we are seeking proposals for both
in-person and virtual conferences.

We will be holding two separate Conferences.
In-Person is September 29 - October 1
Virtual Conference begins on October 12.

CCCAOE invites proposals that foster discovery and problem solving through idea sharing and community building. CCCAOE strongly encourages proposals that balance conceptual and theoretical frameworks with concrete, pragmatic examples. We seek to highlight the how and why of practices, strategies, or models and to facilitate reflection and engagement that helps translate VISION into practice.

Submission Deadline is June 4, 2021
