ANNOUNCING A NEW TIME AND DATE!

So much happened in 2020, we needed a few extra weeks pull together this extraordinary year in review!
We are excited to announce that “One Compelling Ithaca Story Take Two: 2020 in Review” will be taking place Sunday, January 31 at 1pm. This event will be available on United Way of Tompkins County’s Givebutter website givebutter.com/compelling-ithaca
At 1pm audience members will be able to navigate to the site, press the play button on the video, and enjoy stories from local community leaders! These personal stories will focus on the challenges and opportunities of 2020, and the spirit, intelligence, love and courage that has illuminated Tompkins County. It’s our hope that audience members will be inspired by the heart and compassion of our shared communities.

“One Compelling Ithaca Story Take Two: 2020 in Review” aims to raise $5,000 for United Way of Tompkins County’s Community Care Fund. We are more than half way towards meeting our goal, having already raised over $3,300. We hope that this unexpected extension for the timeframe of this event will allow additional community members to enjoy the event and help us to reach our goal.

“One Compelling Ithaca Story: 2020 in Review” was originally scheduled to take place as a livestream event Sunday, January 10. Due to technical difficulties the event was unable to move forward. We hope that everyone who registered for the original event will be able to join us at this newly scheduled date and time.
