The Watershed Association is excited to announce our collaboration with the One Village Project, bringing their innovative Visionary Incubator program to Central Texas in March 2025.

The One Village Project, with over 25 years of community-building experience, has developed a unique educational model through their Institute for Emerging Visionaries. This model goes beyond equipping changemakers with tools and skills; it empowers a generation to face the unprecedented challenges of our time with unwavering resilience and deep-rooted purpose.

In March 2025, we will offer a five-day immersive experience designed to support and evolve visionaries aged 20-30 into resilient leaders. This program forges an unbreakable connection between these young leaders and the natural world, nurturing their innate wisdom and igniting their creative problem-solving abilities by reaching far beyond traditional educational programming. By fostering a culture of sustainable transformation, we’re not just preparing individuals; we’re seeding a network of empowered changemakers. These visionaries will emerge with the knowledge, skills, and emotional fortitude to face global challenges, carry the torch of environmental stewardship, and weave a new narrative of hope and action for our shared future in Texas and beyond.

This program aims to:

  • Cultivate embodied leaders who align their actions, decisions, and communication with their environmental values and knowledge
  • Reconnect participants with nature, reinforcing their commitment to environmental conservation
  • Create a supportive community for healing, growth, and vision cultivation among diverse peers and mentors
  • Leverage the Watershed Association's network to provide comprehensive mentorship and resources
  • Facilitate innovative thinking and respect for diverse perspectives in addressing complex environmental challenges
  • Equip participants with practical skills to design and implement real-world environmental solutions
  • Nurture a new generation of changemakers dedicated to balancing environmental conservation with human well-being

**Applications for this transformative program are now open through December 2024. We enthusiastically encourage aspiring environmental leaders aged 20-30 from all backgrounds to apply.

Something in the Water Live Music Series

October 25th, Live at the Opera House

Wimberley locals Skylar Wilson and Max Piotrzkowski, inspired by their love for music and environmental stewardship, proudly present Something in the Water, a bi-monthly concert series hosted at 7A Resort’s Opera House.

The Wimberley community has always been unified by two things: Art and Water.

Much like Jacob’s Well feeds Cypress Creek into the Blanco River, Wimberley is a spring from which many artists and musicians have emerged, all of which have a special connection to the water that runs through the community.

This concert series celebrates the deep connection between art and water while directly supporting The Watershed Association. Every ticket sold helps fund critical conservation efforts, ensuring the preservation of our sacred water systems.

When: Fri, Oct 25, 6 pm – 10 pm CDT

Location: 7A Ranch Opera House

333 Wayside Dr, Wimberley, TX 78676, USA
