FAQs

What does 'Dinner Delivery' entail? Do I have to be in Victoria?
Choose your favorite restaurant and place your order to your specification and preference. (You'll receive a $25 code for Uber Eats, Door Dash, or other closer to the event. Available to event registrants in most major cities across North America.)

How do I win prizes?
The platform has a leaderboard that tracks attendee engagement. The more engagement, the more points earned. Attendees can engage by networking, responding to surveys and polls, posting in the chat feature, etc. Prizes include gift cards for VISA, Apple, Support Local BC, MEC, and more.

How will the networking work?
Attendees can access and edit their profile and schedule networking sessions as per below.

One-On-One Networking
Browse the list of event attendees to schedule a 1-1 video meeting either within the networking hour or at another time.

Networking Roulette
Using the networking roulette, participants will be able to engage in 1x1 meetings randomly assigned in the Virtual Lobby. (Similar to the concept of speed-dating.)

Group Networking
Attendees can create either public or private group rooms. This is a great option for hosting your own guests, similar to hosting a table at previous Forecast Dinners.

When can I access the platform?
After registering, attendees will receive an immediate confirmation.
48 prior to the event you'll receive another email from Inevent with login links and detailed information on how to access and navigate the platform.
Greetings!

We're excited to announce that Kurt Reiman of BlackRock Investment Institute will moderate our panel. Kurt's bio can be found below.

Please join us for the 13th Annual Forecast Dinner, hosted on a state-of-the-art virtual platform.

Guests can look forward to an engaging experience including networking opportunities, sponsor booths visits, chances to win prizes, live polling and Q&As, and, of course, submitting 2022 closing market predictions for your chance to win a Forecaster Award in 2023

As in past years, the Forecast Dinner will be an evening of insightful discussion as our forecasters share their thoughts on the economic factors that influence and shape the Canadian and global financial markets for 2022 and beyond.
