We would like to announce the rollout of a newly revised diocesan website this weekend. Our purpose, "Proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ and building the Kingdom of God by serving the clergy and laity of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania", appears next to the diocesan shield at the top of every page.
Our new site is now tailored to be more engaging and accessible. New features include:
Icons for videos hosted on Vimeo and Instagram next to the ones for Facebook and Twitter at the top and bottom of all pages.
A revolving and clickable slideshow that previews the events and diocesan notices that will be displayed on the main slideshow.
A center section for Diocesan communications that previews the latest Tweets on Twitter, Upcoming Events and links to the Bishop's Blog, Episcopal Schools, and important notices.
A tab to connect to Bishop Gutierrez where his latest blog posts are displayed.
An "Easy" button to follow us on Twitter and a link to our Instagram page with thumbnails of the latest photos posted.
The "Footer" menu remains the same so you can still locate frequently used pages where you are used to finding them. If you can't find what you are looking for, please try our "Search" window at the top right of each page. It's the easiest way to access the content you need if you can't find a link to a given page.
Our goal when revising the website was to facilitate communications in a way that better meets your needs. It will be under continuing development and we are always open to feedback and suggestions. Please let us know if you have any thoughts about how we can continue to make our website more user friendly for you and the members of your parish.
