You just need a running start ~
For many of us, when we sit down at the gateway of the new year we have the best of intentions...in theory. Our shiny new journal or old one we love in hand, it's time to write up that list of intentions. But the more likely scenario is that a few sentences into our first future-casting description of what we would like to manifest in our lives, the nagging fears begin to rise up. It could be a sad thought about how things in the past didn't work out when you tried, or a negative memory that turns into a sensation felt through the body. Regardless of the way it arrives and settles into the mind and senses, the result is the same. It's like hitting a wall of frustration in your heart that you feel certain you'll never get over or figure out. So how do you leave this old energetic pattern behind? Because if you've studied even 5-minutes of how manifestation works here on the earth plane, then you know that negative emotion is a sign that you are not in a positive manifestation cycle energetically. But there is a solution. You just need a running start...
The mind builds energy around your current focus and thoughts. So before you start trying to manifest what you'd like to draw to you in the future, you just have to remind yourself what a superhero you have been in the last 12-15 months! Instead of starting with that journaling exercise for the new year in front of you, write a list of your amazing accomplishments from last year. And yes, no matter what you experienced or encountered or had to deal with in that time period, you DID have an excellent string of things to be proud of. You got through things. (What things?) You had realizations to make changes. (What were those realizations that now fuel the changes you are ready for?) You survived things. You decided to leave some things behind you...and you either did so already or you are going to. EVERYONE has things they accomplished, one way or another. And those things get a moment to be acknowledged and celebrated.
As you make THIS list first, you will notice that the feeling in your body and mind has changed. Empowerment has crept in. A realization that this is how the superheroes get it done. And in your life, you
that person. And THAT person takes their superhero cape (now firmly affixed to the outfit you're wearing today), and starts writing that OTHER list. What you are now going to accomplish in 2018.
