Your International Transition Coordinators are excited to announce that we have created campus-specific online communities for international students to share housing and carpooling opportunities.
Yammer (the app we have used to create these campus communities) is part of the Microsoft 365 suite and everyone with Conestoga credentials can login, access, and use the app. The functions of Yammer are like a Facebook group, allowing users to make posts and comment on other people’s posts. To learn more about Yammer and see how easy it is to get started, please check out this 2-minute video. And remember – Yammer allows you to connect with users that you know are part of the Conestoga College community! This is a great way for you to connect with your peers to search for or offer housing, find out about carpooling (ride sharing) opportunities and stay engaged with the international college community.
To access Yammer, you will need to sign in using your Condor ID. Learn more about your Condor ID and how to login to your Conestoga portals here.
Each Yammer campus group is monitored by our International Transition Coordinators and Student Outreach Ambassadors. Be sure to follow Conestoga’s Student Expectations for Online Engagement when posting and interacting with other students online. We look forward to seeing you there!
