Hello Friends,
There will be a great opportunity to have your voices heard and learn more about the mixed-use facility based on our new library this Thursday, April 21st at 5:30. The meeting will include a presentation of schematic library design focusing on the interior design and overall site program components of the library along with an update on the exterior facade of the library, site plan, rooftop plan, and floor plans. The presentation will be followed by a facilitated survey on library use, design and aesthetics of the new library design.
Some people have said that this project has not included opportunities for public input. That is clearly not the case, and here is another chance to have some input. Please see the link below to
register for the upcoming community meeting on the design of the new downtown library. The presentation by the Library Master architect team, Jayson Architects, will be held by zoom on Thursday, April 21st from 5:30-6:30pm. I hope you can attend. Registration is free and the presentation will be recorded and will be available on the city website for those who can't attend. A zoom link will be sent out to registered attendees the afternoon of the event.
