Drone Tariffs Begin Sept 3

New tariffs on unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and components are scheduled to begin on September 3, 2026.

100% duty rate on UAS, their docking stations, and critical components on Annex I.
25% duty rate on UAS on Annex II.
15% total tariff applies to products of Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, or EU member nation.
10% duty rate applies to products of the UK.

Canadian Tariffs Delayed 3 Days

Late Tuesday, President Trump issued a delay to the Section 338 Canadian tariffs that were scheduled to start on August 19. The new start date is scheduled for August 22.

Missing Refunds?

U.S. Customs reminds the trade community that importers can run a REV-613 ACE Report to determine whether any potential refunds have been rejected due to missing ACH enrollment.

Affected importers should complete the following steps to have a refund reissued:

Use the ACE Secure Data Portal (ACE Portal) to authorize ACH refunds to help ensure timely receipt of future refunds. For detailed ACH enrollment instructions, review CBP’s ACH Enrollment Overview.
Notify frn-achrefundsupport@cbp.dhs.gov of the new ACH refund enrollment.
