Dear Prince Families,
I am honored and excited to serve in a new role as the Early Education Coordinator at Prince Avenue Christian School (PACS). For the past five years, I have had the joy of serving as the Preschool Director and Mother's Morning Out (MMO) Coordinator at Prince Avenue Baptist Church (PABC), where I’ve watched the preschool ministry grow and flourish. It is incredibly rewarding to watch young children begin to develop socially, emotionally, and spiritually during these early years. I count it as a blessing to return to the PACS staff as Early Education Coordinator while continuing as Coordinator of the PABC MMO program. I am especially looking forward to working alongside Mrs. Becky Callaway and the amazing teachers at Prince to support our youngest learners. Early education is a special time in a child’s life, and it is a joy to be a part of their journey as they begin their school years. I look forward to partnering with you and your young children, encouraging their growth, and celebrating the big and small milestones along the way.
My husband, Billy, and I have been part of the PABC and PACS family for many years. Our daughter, Janie, attended Prince for 13 years and graduated in 2019. Our son, William, who started in PreK, will be a senior this coming school year. The Christ-centered community here has played a vital role in helping us raise our children, and I’m so thankful for the love and support we have received from the faculty and staff at both the church and school throughout the years.
I feel blessed to work in a place that is so special and dear to my family and me. The best part of the day at Prince is receiving sweet smiles, hugs, and waves from my little MMO friends, preschoolers, and lower school students. I am excited for the upcoming school year and look forward to getting to know more families within the lower school. My office will still be located in the preschool area of the church building, so please stop by and say hello!
With joy,
Terri Henderson
