Joe Trance

Vice President of Donated Goods & Retail

Joe joins us with more than 16 years of retail experience, most recently at Goodwill Industries of Dallas. He brings a wealth of experience in retail, production, warehousing, transportation, facilities, safety, and security. Joe is team-focused and driven to maintain Goodwill’s mission.

Before his retail career, Joe served in the U.S. Navy, fostering a lifelong love for travel by experiencing many places. He hopes to continue exploring new destinations with his wife of 15 years, Lisa. Together, they have two children and two dogs named Yogi and Lulu. Joe enjoys the outdoors, engaging in activities such as hiking and kayaking in his free time.

A self-described “store guy,” Joe loves being in the field. “It’s where all the action is, and having amazing team members makes it even more enjoyable."

Lexi Hoebing

Director of Marketing and Creative Services

Lexi is a graphic designer and marketing expert with years of experience in corporate branding, design, and marketing. She’s worked with organizations like CVS, Prudential, and Coca-Cola to streamline donor communications and align their visual messaging and creative direction. She is excited to share these skills with her new team at Goodwill and help us reach new milestones!

Her favorite Goodwill location is Store #25 in Oklahoma City. She lives "dangerously close by" and loves the staff and merchandise there.

Samantha Kramer

Director of People Development & Learning

Sam comes to Goodwill with ten years of experience working on college campuses, teaching young adults how to 'adult' and address barriers to their success. She brings us her love of learning and a dedication to pursuing personal and professional growth and helping others do the same through our Begin At Home program.

According to Sam, here are some things you should know about her: She’s "useless" until she’s had her morning coffee and loves celebrating Pi(e) Day on March 14. The quickest way to her heart is through Schitt's Creek references, especially in GIF form.

Her favorite Goodwill location is Store #29 in Midwest City!

Kara Luther-Chapman

Development Manager

Kara has spent her career leading and growing nonprofit arts organizations with previous stations at Rodeo Cinema and The Pollard Theatre in Guthrie. Here, her work will focus on fundraising and building stronger donor connections.

Outside of work, she loves singing karaoke, gardening, losing herself in a good book, and eating "the best hobby ever!"

Her favorite Goodwill location is Store #37 in Guthrie.

Abbi Hershey

Re-Entry Services Assistant

Abbi is a native Texan and a proud mother of two. She's also an Army Veteran! She loves being outdoors, antiquing, listening to true crime podcasts, gardening, and raising her backyard chickens.

At Goodwill, she'll help us grow our Re-Entry Employment Preparation Program (REPP), which provides vital training and services to correctional facilities in central Oklahoma.

When she's not busy with work or home life, Abbi loves finding treasures at Store #38 in Mustang.

Elizabeth Benson

Employment Specialist

Fun fact: Goodwill was Elizabeth’s very first job. She started in our thrift stores where she learned about Goodwill’s mission. She was soon promoted to Shift Lead, and most recently jumped at the opportunity to work at our corporate offices as an Employment Specialist!

Outside of work, she enjoys refurbishing furniture, reading, baking, and thrifting!

Her favorite Goodwill location is Store #31 located just a couple of miles south of downtown OKC.

New employees, we can't wait to see the great things you bring to our mission of helping people overcome challenges to employment!
