The Hello Campaign intends to give away 288 (re-purposed) phones - for free. GCD Executive Director Chuck Saia explained, "The Secretary of State had an inventory of unique phones, lightly used, left over from recent elections. Federal monies paid for these, which allowed those with disabilities to vote. Having fulfilled their purpose, the equipment was offered to the GCD.
