Marine Conservation Action Fund (MCAF)
MCAF is a small grants and fellowship program that provides multi-faceted support to local leaders who are spearheading community- based ocean conservation in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) around the globe. Through this partnership, conservation leaders create solutions that benefit ocean health and support their local communities. Since 1999, MCAF has supported over 230 projects in 60 countries across six continents through its granting program and has inducted 17 accomplished and visionary leaders into its fellowship program. We are excited to induct up to four new conservation leaders into the supportive community of 17 visionary and accomplished MCAF Fellows who have helped make the program what it is today. The new Fellows will bring new energy, ideas, perspectives, and connections from their work and will further promote learning exchange, collaboration and relationship-building in the Aquarium and MCAF community.
