Hi Everyone,
We wanted to share an update regarding the New England Holiday Craft Spectacular.
After a great deal of thought, we’ve made the decision to pause the event for this year.
We’ve truly enjoyed hosting the show at Starland Sportsplex over the past few years—it’s been a fun and unique space. However, as the event has grown, some limitations at the venue (particularly parking) have made it challenging to support the level of attendance and exhibitor success we strive for. To continue growing this event in a meaningful way, we feel a more accommodating location is needed.
The timing has also been a factor. Halloween weekend isn’t ideal for kicking off the holiday shopping season, and with two large Christmas festivals the following weekend, it would likely stretch both attendance and exhibitor participation too thin.
Rather than move forward with the event in its current form and risk impacting the success of our other shows, we’ve chosen to focus our full efforts on our two November holiday festivals in Topsfield and Wilmington—both of which saw record attendance last year. We’re committed to making these events as strong, well-attended, and successful as possible for everyone involved.
We do hope to bring the Holiday Spectacular back in the future at a new location that better supports its growth.
