International Space Station
Students can talk to the Astronauts!
New England Sci-Tech has arranged with ARISS and NASA to provide students in grades 4-12 across New England a chance to talk to the astronauts on board the International Space Station via amateur radio! We will host the astronaut contact at the BIG E state fair in West Springfield, MA in late September. Especially good for home schoolers, but open to ALL students.
As part of the ARISS event, NESciTech will provide a 12-month Space Science Education Program for FREE to New England students in grades 5 through 12. [Read More and Sign Up]
Battlin' Bots on Friday Nights!
Join us for Battlin' Bots on most Fridays from 6:30-7:30 pm and stay for the Public Telescope night if weather is clear and moon is up. Kids in grades 4 through high school can build and battle! Free for members!
We will also offer air-powered paper rocketry launches at this time, too.
Battlin' Bots
Saturdays 9-noon throughout the year!

Sci-Tech Youth Inventors Workshops are for young inventors, coders, builders, and super scientists who love any kind of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEM or STEAM). Free for members of New England Sci-Tech (NEST).

As an “inventors” workshop, students will be encouraged to work with team mates to design and build a project that could become anything from a gift for a family member to an entrepreneurial endeavor. We will challenge students to brainstorm with teammates, sketch out ideas, calculate dimensions, learn to use design tools and software, build prototypes, test and retest, and solve problems that inevitably arise. Students are encouraged to question each other, help each other, and teach each other.

Our new Space Science Lab and new Planetarium Room are finished, in use, and now showcase the lunar meteorites and NASA space artifacts!
Now arriving – a new Solar Telescope just in time for summer!
Coming soon – a new Music Lab with Garage Band and more.
