March 2019
Our "Everyplace Makerspace" is Coming to Providence!
PCL will take the  PVD Young Makers  Initiative and other technology-based programs on the road this summer. The specially-equipped  Everyplace Makerspace  vehicle will enable staff to transport makerspace equipment and materials to neighborhood schools, recreation centers, parks and to the buildings of community organizations. People of all ages will be able to learn how to code, sew, design, create and build using equipment, technology and materials that were previously restricted to library locations.

Rappel for PCL is Saturday, May 4!
Our second rappelling fundraiser is just around the corner! There's still time for  last-minute sign ups  but if Going Over The Edge isn't for you, you can make a world of difference to one of our  existing fundraising Edgers  and donate, $10, $20 $50 or larger amounts to one of the participants on this page. Several are close to their fundraising goals and your dollars could be the ones they need to guarantee their place on the ropes on May 4.
