New Exhibition: Curious Arias - Irja Bodén + Eduardo Cure

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We welcome 2024 with the presentation of our next exhibition - Curious Arias, featuring the ceramic sculptures of Swedish born artist Irja Bodén and the photographs of Columbian artist Eduardo Cure. The exhibition brings together two approaches to time, locale and consequence.

Underlying these narrative-based abstractions are references to place, family and the domestic.

We hope you'll join us for this exhibition.

This is the last weekend to view the Holiday Group Exhibtion "Fahoo fores, dahoo dores..." featuring works by fifteen regional artists. Although snow is predicted for this weekend we are open today from noon-4pm. Sunday's hours are weather dependent. Look for postings on our Instagram page at artbites23.

The Back Room...

Our back room features a continually changing presentation of artist's books, artist made items, prints, ephemera and art works as well as periodic small focus exhibitions. Current finds in the Back Room include:

Carole Kundstadt's Pressing On limited edition book of her sad iron series that homages the abolitionist Hannah More.

Original design hand-woven rag rugs by Jane Doyle (they're reversible and machine washable!)

A selection of publications by artist Jessica Poser whose work explores the intersections of archaeology and psychology
