New Extension Store Website

Hello, Master Trainers and Class Leaders!

We’re soaking up the sun and bringing exciting news your way!

The Extension Store has been hard at work behind the scenes and launched their brand new website on of June 6, 2025. It’s faster and more user-friendly—making it easier than ever to find your Class Leader or Master Trainer materials, associated fees, and more.

With this new platform, everything is starting fresh! This means that we ask you to create a new account on the new Extension Store website so you can continue accessing materials and information. Our how-to guides have been updated for both Class Leaders and Master Trainers to reflect the new website. You will not be able to login or ask for a password reset until you create a new account.

There are two exceptions to the request to create a new account:

Class Leaders or Master Trainers sponsored by Iowa State University do not need to create a new account, as there is a new login option using your netid.
Anyone who was part of a training last week (training end date of 06/06/25) and created their account after training does not need to create another. You've already created your account with the new Extension Store!

We continue to move forward with the book, though delays out of our control continue to rise. As soon as I have an updated timeline I can share out, I will be sure to communicate that message to you. We are so excited and eager to get this new book in your hands.

Accepting Applications for Final Master Trainer Training of 2025

Would you like to be able to train colleagues to become facilitators for Powerful Tools for Caregivers? Does your organization want to expand the program reach by offering training opportunities? Consider applying for upcoming Master Trainer Training sessions!

To be eligible, you must begin as a Class Leader. Once you have four 6-week caregiver class series under your belt and the support of your organization, you can apply for Master Trainer Training. You can review the Master Trainer Agreement for additional Master Training policies.

The one remaining training session for 2025 are:

Tuesday, October 28; 8-10 a.m. PT/10 a.m.-12 p.m. CT/11 a.m.-1 p.m. ET

Materials and Resources

Class Leaders

Class Leader Materials can be accessed through the I SU Extension Store (see note below) and the PTC Website.

Review the Class Leader How-To Guide for step-by-step instructions for accessing PTC materials.
Report your class series by using the 'add an upcoming class' or 'add a completed class' forms.
Find additional Class Leader resources on the PTC website, including event promotion and marketing materials
Order eBook licenses and receive the eBook version of The Caregiver Helpbook for any upcoming caregiver class series through the ISU Extension Store.

Master Trainers

Master Trainer Materials can be accessed through the ISU Extension Store (see note below) and the PTC Website.

Review the Master Trainer How-To Guide for step-by-step instructions for accessing PTC materials.
Report your Class Leader Training using the Class Leader Confirmation Form at least three weeks in advance.
Find additional Master Trainer resources on our website, including event promotion and marketing materials
Order eBook licenses and receive the eBook version of The Caregiver Helpbook for any upcoming Class Leader Training through the I SU Extension Store.

Note: When you set up your ISU Extension Store account, be sure to use the primary email address that PTC uses to contact you. You must be logged in to your account to access the materials.
