NEW FERPA and Privacy Training for Everyone

The UConn Privacy Program has launched updated FERPA and Privacy Training designed to better support our community in protecting sensitive information and navigating federal and institutional privacy requirements.

What’s new:


  • More accessible location: The training is now available on the Privacy website and is no longer hosted in HuskyCT.

  • Audience-specific versions:

    • A tailored experience for professional employees

    • A dedicated version for student employees and volunteers

  • Expanded content: In addition to FERPA, the training now includes broader privacy guidance, addressing real-world scenarios and best practices beyond student education records.
