I'm happy to announce that on Monday, October 28th, Mrs. Lucy Gonzalez will be joining our faculty as the Spanish Teacher for grades PK-8. Mrs. Gonzalez has been a part-time substitute teacher for St. Mark School since February 2018. As such, she is familiar with our student body and understands classroom routines and expectations, making for an efficient transition to specialist teacher.
Also, as you may know, Ms. Sarah Carrano has returned "home" to St. Mark School as Director of the After School Program.
Previously, Ms. Carrano was the St. Mark building Substitute Teacher from 2011-2015, and St. Mark Art Teacher from 2013-2018. She was D
irector of the After School Program from 2011-2016.
I hope you will join me in congratulating Mrs. Gonzalez and Ms. Carrano to their new roles at St. Mark School. We are excited by the fresh energy they will bring to our community.
