NEW FALL HOURS AND PROGRAMS

ACTIVITY GUIDE:

Due to the current unknowns and ever changing conditions, we will not be mailing an Activity Guide for the Fall 2020. All information regarding programs will be published on our Website, Facebook and in this Newsletter that we will be sending out Bi-Weekly on Sundays at 6:00 PM.

Each program will now be posting once a week on our Facebook page, so if you haven't yet, like us on Facebook to get the latest updates.

Sunday: Rec Center and General posts/reminders

Monday: Youth Sports

Tuesday: Aquatics

Wednesday: Adult Sports

Thursday: 50+ Activities

Friday: Fitzone and Fitness

Saturday: Field House

We will be Closed Monday, September 7th for Labor Day, please be Safe and enjoy yourself.

General CRC Hours:

Monday - Friday: 6:00 am - 1:00 pm and 4:00 - 7:00 pm
Saturday: 12:00 - 4:00 pm

Aquatics: (Click in the link below. We suggest making a reservation for lap lanes.

Gyms:

Monday - Friday: Pickleball 6:00 - 10:00 am and Open courts 10:00 am - 1:00 pm and 4:00 - 7:00 pm
Saturday: 12:00 - 4:00 pm)

Climbing Wall:

Tuesday and Wednesday: 4:00 - 7:00 pm (certified climbers and reservations only)

Fitness Classes: Reservations only, click below for more details

Racquetball Courts: Open during general hours by reservation (must be in the same household)

In order to comply with public health orders set forth by both Montrose County Public Health and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, there will be several policy and procedural changes implemented to keep visitors, staff, and our community safe. Patrons who are non-compliant with the policies and procedures will be asked to leave the facility. If you have additional questions, please contact us during the updated hours of operation. Currently masks/face coverings are required in all areas of the CRC

Please maintain a positive attitude and patience as we continuously aim to improve our service delivery. Please let us know if you have any questions or suggestions. Field House and Afterschool Program

The Volunteer of the Year award was presented to Doug Rood for all of his tireless help and dedication to help create and build up the extensive Pickleball program over the past 6+ years. THANK YOU Doug. For more pictures of the awards Click here

Cindy Marino receiving the Cosme Sisneros Staff Service Award. The awards namesake was proud to present the award to Cindy, who he had hired some 12 years earlier. Cindy was recognized by her peers for her dedication and service to the patrons of her 50+ programs and her willingness to always help out and go above and beyond her job title to help everyone in our community. Thank you Cosme and Cindy who together have a combined 55 years serving our Montrose community and recreation district.

On the left, Justin doing what he is passionate about, running the youth sports program for the MRD and teaching and encouraging kids to push their limits and challenge themselves to HAVE FUN while learning a new skill or sport.
