  • Wednesday, January 17 - Cross Plains Public Library
  • Thursday, January 18 - Stoughton Public Library (tentative)
We will share updates as soon as they are available.

IRIS/Family Care Learning Circle
The Dane County Arc and LOV-Dane invite all individuals, families and their friends to participate in an IRIS/Family Care Learning Circle. The Circle will meet monthly, will be led by families, and will include Lynn Breedlove and Dennis Harkins among it's friends.

The IRIS/Family Care Learning Circle will not be a training event. It will instead offer a place and a process within which people can learn together, using and sharing their own ideas and experiences. From these gatherings we believe people who choose to receive support and services through IRIS or Family Care will learn from one another, will create or strengthen connections with one another, will engage in problem-solving, and will continue the tradition of grassroots innovation which has long characterized our work together within Dane County.

Because of Your Generosity
You made the difference, helping people with disabilities have equal opportunities in 2017.

  • Because of you, over 250 families had questions answered by the experts regarding the Family Care/IRIS transition.
  • Because of you, over 300 people with disabilities danced the afternoon away, sharing time with friends.
  • Because of you, parents of school-aged children with developmental disabilities throughout Dane County are receiving information and presentations about transitioning out of the school system.  With over 5 district presentations to date you have helped us reach almost 100 parents.
  • Because of you, advocacy information is at the fingertips of hundreds of families throughout Dane County.
  • Because of you, families, guardians and people with disabilities are connecting and finding support.
Your gift to The Arc Dane County makes all of this, and more, possible.  Let's keep working together so that even more children and adults with developmental disabilities have the same opportunities, choices, rights, and respect due all people in our community.
