FARM

NEW! More Mulching with the Mulcher!

Land's Sake was awarded a generous grant to purchase a Row Mulcher through the Climate Smart for Agriculture Program of the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources. Spreading mulch by hand is one of the most time-consuming jobs on the farm! Does mulch make a big difference? In a side by side trial of garlic beds, the mulched beds yielded taller plants, bigger bulbs, and higher overall yield. Here's to more mulching!
