Maverick: Use Last Price During Halt
During halts, venues and electronic communication networks (ECNs) may experience significant market discrepancies, with high bids and low offers appearing in the Level 2 and ECN order books.

Crossed Level 2 or ECN order books create challenges when entering bids and offers because, by default, Maverick aligns order keys with the prevailing inside market.

To address this issue, Maverick now offers the option to use the last price before a halt as a reference for placing new orders.
To access Use Last Price During Halt, right-click on the Position Manager and select Configure Configure Order Entry.
Double-click Order Line to open the dropdown menu and select Keys.

Check the box next to Use Last Price During Halt and click Apply.

Maverick: Apex Pre-Borrow (APB) Locate

To acquire an APB locate, traders must initiate the process by emailing locate@trlm.com specifying the targeted threshold symbol. Trade Support will then contact Apex to verify the availability of shares and price per share.

Once this information is verified, Trade Support will email the trader, providing the price and confirming the number of threshold shares requested. The Trade Support team will then manually input the share and price information into Maverick and inform the trader that the locate is available for purchase using Maverick's All Locate Window.
