The newly released Building a Better America funds will mostly be funneled through existing Ohio programs. Many are competitive grant programs, while others will be funneled through the Metropolitan Planning Organizations.
Some funding opportunities will be Federal, and communities may want to be in contact with their Federal representatives to request support with either programs that can influence directly, or support through other agencies.
Over the next few weeks, more and more data will become available on what programs are available and how you may apply. Many will start as soon as February 2022, and continue to be released through the third quarter of 2022.
