Project Update May 12, 2023

Great progress over the past week or so. The roof is starting to go on and the frame of the canopy over the front doors is taking shape!

The guys from Scenic Ridge, working on the steel building, continue to work real hard to keep us on schedule. The weather has cooperated and the building is further taking shape. Internally the rough plumbing is just about complete and ready to be closed up in the next day or so.

It's time for everyone in our Great Valley community to GIVE BACK. The community's support over the past six years has been tremendous [Donor List]. Let's finish what we started, paying off the debt and moving forward with the next phase of the project. To do this, the support must continue and be more broad based.

Do You Match?

Much of the success of any capital campaign comes from Employer Matching Gift Programs. Most corporations have a a matching gift program which enables you to have twice the impact with your contribution.

To date, we have received over $130,000 in matching gifts towards our new GVCO Community Center.

For this first phase of the project, if we could simply raise that same level of employer matching gifts, it would allow us to nearly pay for the entire plumbing in the building or all of the windows and doors.
